This sounds like a great piece of software but I think many would be put off by the almost $70 price tag. I'd reduce the price by at least 30% to make it more attractive to users.

Include the ability to recover files from all my computers on my home network as well as a portable version; and improve the help file by adding video tutorials.

When displaying partitions color code them so that you can tell which partitions belong to the same physical drive

Wow, this program recovered 149.65GB of files from a 4GB pen drive, troube is it says it's going to take over 7 hours to recover them. Find some way of speeding it up.

Thankfully the memory footprint is very low and virtually no performance drop from my cpu.

Improve the programs detection of HDD's on a system. After scanning my system it says one of my drives (which is a combined 3TB and a 1.5TB drive {not a raid}) is only 100GB in size?

It took over 10 minutes to recover a 4GB pen drive (via a USB 3.0 connection, it worries me how long it would take to recover my 3TB drive.

If it takes 10 minutes for every 4 GB then it would seem that a 3000GB drive would take 3000 divided by 4 which equals 740 X 10 = 7500 minutes or 5.2 days. That's assuming the larger drive had been full previously. And that only includes...

Include a tool that enables you to select the type of file you want recovering, for example: please click on idea to see the example

eg) ....... I may want to recover images or music files. Or if you know the name of the software be able to input the name and allow it to be selective - this would hopefully cut down on the length of time this program takes to scan and...

Consider creating an all round tool that includes partitioning tools, data recovery, imaging software, HDD to SSD migrating software.

I would be more likely to purchase such a suite of tools than buy them seperately. You could charge a decent

Show some status/diagnostic information for each drive AND each partition before the 'search for files' begins.

It really needs a password protection at startup as some files are deleted due to privacy issue and it revels every file to anyone ,also make it a little lite as while searching my dual core crosses 90% we can't let it for so long

Add an app which would help to detect ALL drives connected to computer (I have 14TB & a number of small drives) - I REALLY like this idea & WHO CARES how long it takes - if the info is important enough to use the program then be PATIENT! Also, a...
